Speaker DOUGLAS HOYLE III, ASP, CSP- National Loss Control Director, Berkshire Hathaway Guard Insurance
Doug graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Safety Sciences. He specializes in Loss Control Management, safety management, safety program development, safety program implementation and promoting management commitment. Doug began working in the field of insurance Loss Control in 1994 after a career in the power generation and steel industries. He held varying insurance-related field and staff positions with companies such as Chubb, Selective, Amtrust, PLM and Nationwide Insurance. He was the Safety & Risk Manager for Keystone Human Services, a large social services agency with over 3,200 employees and 450 locations. His professional memberships include American Society of Safety Engineers, National Safety Council, and Blacks in Safety Excellence. He is an ASP, CSP, Pennsylvania State Certified Accident & Illness Prevention Service Provider, OSHA Outreach trainer (General Industry) and a Darkness to Light – Stewards of Children Trainer (Child Sexual Abuse Awareness). He is married and is a father of 4 including 8 grandchildren. He enjoys exercising, golf, bowling and playing the drums in his spare time.
