Join us for a joint meeting with Millersville University ASSP Student Section.

Topic The Unacceptable Risk of Working Alone During High-Risk Work

During this session, Fred will share his research on the topic of employees working alone.  Fred’s work was recently published in Professional Safety – July 2018.  As noted in the article – “working alone is generally an accepted practice in the U.S” and “working alone when performing high risk work presents an unacceptable risk to workers.”  Fred will review this topic in detail and share strategies that can be applied to reduce these risks.

Donors can establish a named academic scholarship or professional education grant fund through the ASSP Foundation. Scholarships and grants advance the safety profession and provide national recognition for the donor. The Foundation manages the administrative details of this program and works with the donor to provide qualified award recipients each year.
